Skills people can use to earn a living

Officially, unemployment in South Africa stands at just over 27% – the highest it's been in 13 years. Over 55% of the potential workforce is young people, more than half of whom have never held a job. Only 21% have tertiary qualifications; 63% don't even have a matric, with the high school drop out rate being close to 45%.

Siyabonga Africa works with young and unemployed people to find solutions to this ticking time bomb. The courses we offer provide practical skills and basic knowledge geared to helping disadvantaged people become more employable, and fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship.
